Everybody needs an Introduction.............

Hello,

I am Victoria! To be honest with you i've never created a blog before- However this is going to allow me to enter into the modern way of communication and our virtual operating world, well we will see!

I am currently in my final year of a three year Drama Studies Degree, I am truly interested in the Theatre and have a true passion for performing. I wanted to take this particular module 'Virtuality and Performance' because it is something fresh and new to which i have never to this extent experimented with and I am quite certain once I graduate and start working in the theatre industry this subject of virtual theatres and virtuality combined with perfromance is something i will be facing everyday.

I hope to be able to effectively examine the development of multi-media perfromance looking at multi-disciplinary prcatices and to see clearly to what extent the influence of new media is being utilised in Contemporary Performance. By look at practitioner who have welcomed media and new technologies into their works and practice I will have a critical and visual understanding/ outlook on the developing nature of this type of Drama/ Art and Performance.
